On 10 March 2023, Achalasia Action was represented at the annual meeting of the British Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (BSPGHAN) in Windsor.

Achalasia can occur at any age and can affect perhaps 3 or 4 in a million children. It is important that the medical professionals meet to discuss the latest developments in how to treat children, and our charity was able to make a number of helpful contacts with doctors operating in this field.
