When you donate to Achalasia Action you can be confident that 100% of your donation is used for funding the charity’s work in supporting achalasia patients and their families, because Achalasia Action charity is entirely run by volunteers who give their time freely. We have no paid staff or dedicated premises and keep admin costs to an absolute minimum.

We have in the past received grant funding for creating videos and other items such as this website . However, our main source of funding is public donations and we are reliant on your generosity to enable us to continue.

Our aim for 2023 is to build an initial research fund of £10,000 to enable the charity to make a contribution alongside other funding partners to the cost of a research project into spasms. Your donations can help us to facilitate this research and to really make a difference.
